The Prison Story Project is leading a new book study with women incarcerated at the Northwest Arkansas Community Correction Center. Jane Blunschi is leading an in-depth study of author Molly Brodak’s book, Bandit: A Daughter’s Memoir.
In the summer of 1994,, when Molly was thirteen years old, her father robbed eleven banks, until the police finally caught up with him while he was sitting at a bar drinking beer, a bag of money plainly visible in the backseat of his parked car.
In this book study, the women are exploring the similarities between Molly’s relationship with her father and their own relationships with family.
