The Prison Story Project submitted a proposal to present our work at the 2018 National Humanities Conference in New Orleans, November 8 – 11. The committee received more than 130 proposals and we are grateful and humbled to have been selected.
In our session we will discuss what is involved in bringing the arts to prison. Participants will be introduced to the methods of creative writing/storytelling/poetry that the Prison Story Project has been successfully utilizing in prisons since 2012, with instruction on how to replicate the project to those interested.
