The Prison Story Project will participate in the InterAction Conference at Notre Dame University on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 7:30pm, presenting “On The Row” as part of the storytelling conference.
David Jolliffe, Prison Story Project Board member and actor/volunteer flew out to Notre Dame earlier this year and auditioned actors to read the stories written by the Arkansas death row inmates we served over over 6 months in 2016 at Varner Prison.
In addition to David and the local actors he auditioned, we are pleased to announce that Calvin Porter, exonerated Arkansas death row inmate, will also be one of the readers for this performance.
We are also pleased to announce that Rich Moore of Mollie O’Brien & Rich Moore has joined The Prison Story Project as our itinerant musician and has written and scored the music for “On The Row” and will be with us at Notre Dame for this special evening.
The staged reading will be held on the campus of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana at the Carey Auditorium (inside Hesburgh Library) at 7:30pm. The event is free and open to the public. $10 donation is suggested.
